His daughter attends Westside High School in Jacksonville, and he demanded answers from school officials. “The words ‘baby daddy’ and ‘baby mama’ being used, that’s foresight,” Austin told WTLV. “The fact that she’s having sex with one guy and to get revenge on this guy she has sex with his best friend the next day? I mean, that’s just not something that I want to teach any student.” Duval County Public Schools, the school district where Westside High is located, has released a statement thanking Austin for bringing the issue to their attention. It assured parents that the “highly inappropriate” question “was not part of a district assessment” and that an internal investigation had been launched to uncover how the question landed on the homework. School officials promised that “appropriate and corrective action will be taken” when the culprit is found.
