At some point, he’s restrained by all of them and Mantis has forced him to sleep as they try to get the gauntlet. Their efforts are thwarted when Starlord learns that Thanos has killed Gamora, and, in a fit of rage, attacks Thanos....

But since Tywin was murdered on the can by Tyrion at the end of the fourth season of Game of Thrones, there has been a noticeable void in terms of dads who are equal parts negligent and compelling. Fortunately, Charles Rhoades Sr. only needed three minutes of screen time to solidify his current status of the TV’s best bad dad....

The short answer is this: the main bad guys in the new movie are called the Skrulls. Those are the green people. They’re aliens and they’re good at brainwashing people and also shape-shifting. Relevantly, in the comics, some versions of the Skrulls fought a war with the Eternals. Star Lord’s dad (Kurt Russell) was/is an Eternal. In fact, depending on how you look at it, the Eternals are just one branch of the Skrulls and the green versions are the Deviants, or, more obviously, the Reptilians....

The first delay in shooting started in March, when COVID-19 shut down productions around the world. It necessitated a change in the scheduled release date from June 25 of next year to October 1. Warner Bros. only said that filming was “temporarily paused,” but the delay will hopefully last just a couple of weeks as Pattinson and those he came into contact with isolate themselves. The news is a gut-punch to fans still on a high after a teaser trailer for the film dropped at the DC Fan Dome virtual event nearly two weeks ago....

But, Star-Lord’s next Marvel movie isn’t Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Because he’s basically the guy carting Thor around the universe, Chris Pratt will appear in Thor: Love and Thunder, the highly anticipated Marvel flick, set to be released on May 6, 2022. Like the incredibly popular Thor: Ragnorok, this Thor outing will be directed by Taika Waititi. In a chat about parenting, marriage and his new flick The Tomorrow War, Fatherly was also able to get Pratt to reveal a few details from Thor: Love and Thunder....

So, it looks like the moment that huge comic book fans have been wanting for over 10 years is finally happening. A character from the X-Men officially walked into the world of the Avengers. The person who rang the doorbell at the end of the episode was actor Evan Peters, who has played Quicksilver in three X-Men movies, starting with 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. In the comics, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch (Wanda) are twins, and the children of the mutant mastermind, Magneto....

Conan made a name for himself in the crowded world of late-night with his off-kilter sense of humor and his perfect balance of high brow and low brow comedic sensibilities. As his 28-year career in late-night began to wind down, fans took to social media to celebrate Conan and many shared some of their favorite moments from Conan, The Tonight Show, and Late Night.
