Your Bedtime Routine Might Be Hurting Your Toddler S Development Study

Researchers examined the bedtime routines of families to determine the impact of “passive” sleep-inducing techniques (singing, reading, snuggling) versus “active” sleep-inducing techniques (car rides, playing, taking walks) in order to determine how those routines might impact their toddler’s development. Questionnaires were distributed to 841 households across 14 countries, including the U.S., and caregivers were asked to describe both their bedtime techniques and their toddler’s temperaments. “Parental sleeping techniques are correlated with children’s sleep quality, and the importance of cultural context in child development has been long recognized,” study co-author Christie Pham, a doctoral student at Washington State University, said in a statement....

Youtube Maker 3D Prints Toddler Sized Lego Push Car Go Kart

The car is actually a toddler-sized version of Lego’s 1985 Technic Go-Kart Kit (#1972) that Denton purchased online. He printed all 98 pieces of the original kit at 5x scale from ABS plastic on his Lulzbot Taz5 3D printer. It took a full week, 168 hours of print time, and cost him upwards of $130. But it’s quite the feat: All the pieces interlock like Legos, and he was able to assemble the entire vehicle without any adhesives ⏤ just as one would the original model....

Avengers Endgame Writer Confirms Bucky Knew What Cap Would Do

Let us explain. One of the things fans have been wondering about since the end credits rolled on Endgame is why Cap designated Falcon as his successor and not Bucky, his best friend. An exchange between director Joe Russo and screenwriter Stephen McFeely — who also co-wrote the three Captain America films — on the commentary track reveals the answer. The conversation in question comes as Cap is saying goodbye on his way back to return the Infinity Stones to their natural places in the timeline....

Gabby S Dollhouse Star Says She S Ready To Grow Up Alongside Your Kids

“I’m not like an editor or anything, but sometimes I’ll catch something in the script and be like, ‘hey we’ve been saying pink and orange a lot lately.’ And sometimes they’ll change it.” For parents who are sometimes a bit worn-out by the massive amounts of hyper-energy coming off the screen from various new kids’ shows, including Dreamwork’s Gabby’s Dollhouse, take solace in the fact that the people working on this show are working hard to make sure nothing about the series is dumbed-down....

Home Alone Reboot Macaulay Culkin Wants To Play Kevin Again

Over the weekend, Macaulay Culkin commented on the somewhat tongue-in-cheek petition proposed on Twitter with an unusual goal, to say the least. Here’s the idea: Remake Home Alone, but this time have grown-up Culkin play Kevin again, and have no one in the film acknowledge that he clearly is not 8 years old. Hilariously, this “petition” incorrectly identified Culkin as “38” and spelled his name wrong, too. And so, the actor said he was in support of the idea as long as his age and name were corrected....

Mission Impossible Fallout Ending Is There A Post Credits Scene

(No spoilers ahead!) Since the moment Nick Fury snuck into Tony Stark’s apartment to talk to him about ‘The Avengers Initiative” at the end of 2008’s Iron Man, post-credits teases have become a standard part of the blockbuster experience. But it doesn’t happen with the new Mission: Impossible, which is a relief. Of course, because Fallout is the sixth installment in the Mission Impossible franchise, it’s reasonable to assume that this is not the last we’ve seen of the franchise....

Venom 2 Post Credits Scene Makes Spider Man Grow Up

So, in the post-credits scene for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, it’s basically implied that Venom now exists in the MCU. After the symbiote talks a bit about having knowledge that would blow Eddie’s (Tom Hardy) mind, something shifts and we see scenes from the post-credits sequence in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Yep, back in 2019, the MCU movie after Avengers: Endgame, brought J. Jonah Jameson back from the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man movies, to hassle Tom Holland’s contemporary Spider-Man....

To illustrate this fact, the 2021 Honda Odyssey is a mere half-foot longer than the Kia Telluride, yet the maximum cargo volume of the Kia is 87 cubic feet. That’s big, but the max cargo volume of the Odyssey is an astonishing 158 cubic feet. More surprising is that the Odyssey performs while being so big! In fact, of all the seven-passenger-plus vehicles here, we’d argue the Odyssey is easily one of the best-handling, because, again, it sits lower, like a car....
