Saturday Night Live knows this, and a sketch on the show’s most recent episode cleverly roasts a particularly unrealistic genre of advertising: the children’s clothing commercials that every parent knows are kind of bullshit. The sketch starts out as a standard spot for Macy’s, complete with jingling bells and photogenic families dressed in dresses and sweaters amidst giant Christmas ornaments in front of a blank backdrop. Everything changes when the kids start complaining like they actually do in real life....
The sketch recreated one of the funniest moments of the series when Jordan was bested in a game of quarters by his security guard John Michael Wozniak, who then delivered Jordan’s patented shrug while the six-time champion stewed furiously in his defeat. But this time around, the game was heightened, as John’s small victory ended up costing him thousands of dollars. After John (played to perfection by Heidi Gardner) wins five bucks, Jordan (played by host Keegan-Michael Key) admits that he “took that personally” and challenges his security guard to a rematch for $1,000....

We’re not sure what the “F” stands for, but it’s pretty clear the “B” and the “P” can only mean Ben Parker. Thematically, this is interesting because in the new Marvel movies Tony Stark has effectively become Peter’s Uncle Ben-figure; an older male mentor who dies and passes along wisdom to Peter....
Getting rid of the 300-person live audience was the first step in resuming production.
